Course Guidelines

How to Get the Most From Your Courses

Clear, practical guidelines that help you learn effectively and make the most of your DUS SKILLS experience.

Last updated: September 15, 2026

About These Guidelines

These guidelines explain how our courses work and what we expect from learners and trainers alike. Following them helps you get better results, keeps the community respectful, and protects the work of our trainers.

By enrolling in a DUS SKILLS course you agree to follow these guidelines. Make sure you read them before starting your first lesson.

Getting Started & Course Access

  • Browse the course catalogue and read the description, outcomes, and prerequisites before enrolling so the course matches your goals.
  • Watch the free preview lessons on our playlist page to get a feel for the teaching style before you commit.
  • Access your enrolled courses through your account and keep your login details private — never share your account with anyone.
  • Course materials remain available for your entire learning period. If you lose access, contact us and we will help restore it.

Learning & Participation

  • Follow the course sequence that better fits your level — but in general we recommend progressing lesson by lesson for the best results.
  • Complete the exercises, assignments, and projects. The skills you practise are what turn lessons into real ability.
  • Ask questions when you are stuck. Our trainers and support team are here to help you.
  • Give yourself a realistic schedule. Short, regular sessions are more effective than rare marathons.

Live Sessions & 1:1 Coaching

  • Attend live sessions on time and come prepared with any questions you want to cover.
  • Treat trainers and fellow learners with respect. Supportive, professional communication keeps the learning environment healthy for everyone.
  • If you need to reschedule a 1:1 session, let your trainer know in advance so the time can be offered to someone else.

Assignments & Projects

  • Submit original work. Copying or reproducing someone else's submission is not permitted and may affect your certificate eligibility.
  • Follow the instructions for each project, including format and deadline.
  • Your trainer will review your work and provide feedback to help you improve — use it.

Certificates

  • Certificates are awarded on completion, which means finishing the required lessons, projects, and assessments for your course.
  • Certificates are issued in the name you provide. Contact us quickly if you need the name corrected.
  • A certificate confirms your completion of the course and is not a formal degree or license.

Intellectual Property

  • All course content — videos, lessons, slides, templates, and materials — belongs to DUS SKILLS and its trainers.
  • You may use course materials for your own learning only. Republishing, reselling, sharing, or redistributing them — in full or in part — is not permitted.
  • Work or images presented in courses may be used for demonstration purposes only and remain the property of their owners.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not share your account, credentials, or course access with others.
  • Do not attempt to download, record, or scrape premium course content without authorisation.
  • Do not use the platform to post or distribute inappropriate, unlawful, or harmful content.
  • We may suspend or remove access if these guidelines are violated.

Communication & Support

  • For course-related questions, contact your trainer or use the course help channel available to you.
  • For account, payment, or technical issues, email us at info@dusskills.com.
  • We aim to respond to support enquiries within one to two business days.

Technical Requirements

  • Use a current browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari) on any computer, tablet, or phone.
  • A stable internet connection is needed to watch lessons and attend live sessions.
  • For design and development courses, a computer with the recommended software installed will give you the best experience.

Payments, Cancellations & Changes

  • Course fees, payment terms, and refund conditions are shown at the point of purchase and in our Terms & Conditions.
  • We may update these guidelines as our platform grows. Changes take effect when published on this page.

Version History

This version of the Course Guidelines was published on September 15, 2026 and replaces any earlier version.
